And then...I graduated law school

I officially became a Juris Doctor last weekend.  There really isn't any way to describe the day other than a tizzy.  I was kind of out of it all day.  I put shampoo in my hair instead of gel.  I gave backwards directions to everyone to the location of the ceremony.  I was seriously concerned that I'd fall on the stage.  I do not remember them calling out my name.  All in all it was a once in a life time event that I may never fully remember, but definitely won't forget.

Juris Doctor, cum laude

My family threw me the sweetest graduation party complete with themed food (you must read the menu), pretty decorations, and a sign your own quilt square that my mom is using to create a quilt.  We then went back to my party after the ceremony for dessert and champagne.

Graduation itself was OUTSIDE.  In the Texas Heat.  Wearing those gowns and hats in 90+ degree heat was somewhat torture, but the ceremony itself was very beautiful.

And now it's time to dive head first into Barbri and studying for the Texas Bar Exam.  One final test!!
Thanks to everyone for all of the support over the years.  It's meant so much to me.

SQUID PRO QUO. Oh my word, that is genius. That Juris Doctor cake is beautiful too!! What a pretty party! It sounds like your day was just perfect and I'm so glad for you! What a feeling, right? I can't remember them calling my name either, and I'm pretty sure it's because I was thinking "don't trip, don't trip" right before I walked out. All of us ladies probably had the same thing on our minds!! Congratulations again!

Good luck starting Barbri. I took my Kaplan diagnostic MBE yesterday -- ssshheeessshhhh. Don't think I remembered much from 1L! I hope you'll still be blogging occasionally around your studying!
